WONDERLAND
Let's set sail and catch the breeze
As it whispers through the trees
On the arms of the wind we'll ride
With you forever at my side
Into the wonderland between the sky and the seas
And I'll touch the heart of you -
Take you where you want me to -
We'll lie within the moon's embrace
And among the stars we'll chase
The dreams and longings that have brought me close to
you
Close to you - this wonderland
Where love's dream never dies
Lead me into the wonderland
I've seen inside your eyes
Take me - make me understand
This wonderland.
SOMETIMES...WRITTEN IN THE SAND
Sometimes our thoughts and wishes
Are only written in the sand
Where the ocean washes them away
Before we come to understand
How it is we lose our way
And drift from dream to dream:
Without the chance to see who we can be
We forget what happiness means.
LOVE THAT LIES
No one told me it could be this way -
The pain and sorrow that love can bring
No one told me it would end this way
When all your dreams fade away to nothing
When you think that you can touch the sky
You find it's just too far to fall
When you think that you can taste the wine
You find it's only water after all
And somewhere in the lonely night
You hear the sound of one who cries
Yes somewhere in the
lonely night
You hear the sound of love that lies.
